One Step at a Time
Hello Everyone,
This past week has been particularly difficult for all of us in YVR after the loss we experienced. We are in talks with IAM to see what kind of support the Unifor family could offer. We will make sure to keep you informed.
On July 15th the ACBC (Air Canada Bargaining Committee) will be meeting in Toronto, and we will begin strategizing the upcoming round of bargaining.
There are QR codes in the lunchroom, Jazz, North Leads and TB.
Here’s a link to the time slots :

When you scan them, it will take you to available time slots. We will have the opportunity to have one on one (or small group) conversations. We aim to collect as much in-depth information as possible. The sessions are virtual; we can meet in the union office or grab a coffee at the airport (whatever works best for you).
In some sessions I might be joined by either the Anca (Pacific Vice president), Brett Grassam (Central region Bargaining Representative) or Tammy Moore (Unifor 2002 President)
This is our opportunity to allow the membership to have their unique personalized stamp on our upcoming bargaining talks.
Thank you for your time.
In Solidarity and Iron focus
Soppo
